RV Warranty
Like many of you here I was not informed about the $150 Forest River warranty offer and found out about it after it was a little to late. So now I am looking at other RV warranty companys and have read some good things about a company called Wholesale Warranties. I was told besides price, the biggest difference was that they covered electrical wiring where Good Sam does not.
I m hoping that between my brothers family and myself that my TT will get plenty of use so I was hoping for feed back from those with more RV experience then myself about if its worth it and if so which would that suggest.

I just got my application approved by FR today. I got my TT about 5 months ago. I put a note with my application that the extended warranty was never mentioned when I purchased the trailer. I also called FR and asked about sending the application in and the girl that handles the program said they are finding out that many dealers don't mention the warranty and they are relaxing the rules and allowing it. They just mailed my application back with a company representatives signature and dated, and I checked and they cashed my check so it is official.

Thanks, I got my trailer just before Memorial Day. Again the dealer kept pushing their warranty and said nothing about the one from Forrest River. I will call tomorrow.

Just print the form from this site, and mail in your check. It will go through.

I'm in the same boat. FR is still honoring the application if sent in late. Here is the FR person to contact Rhonda Yoder: rgyoder@forestriverinc.com

I read the second year warranty and the holding tanks are not included. That's odd.

When I called Rhonda I expected to get shipped to voice mail but she answered the phone. Very nice, she told me they were covered up with the 2nd year warranty applications and not to panic if it wasn't sent right back. She said 4-6 weeks for the approval and I think it was about 4 weeks. The RV industry is very busy this year so that may add to the relaxed rules.

Our one year warranty just expired a couple if weeks ago. No option mentioned from Dealer (of course...they want their $2k). We are in Canada. Any ideas if we might qualify for this FR warranty?

You should contact the warranty department for your model at Forest River. When I got mine the warranty department told me that the dealers are not required to tell you about the 2nd year warranty! Dealers make a large commission on the sale of third party warranties/service contracts. Good Luck
