Soft floor & insurance

I have a V-Lite with the vaccumn bonded floor. A soft spot is growing. I had a repair shop check it out and they think it is a manufacturing defect. There is no leak that they can find. The unit was 5 y/old as of last w/e. Forest River said they will cover it ONLY if it is an obvious defect from the factory. My question is if they won't cover it, will insurance take over?

Insurance will cover a comprehensive or collision loss, they do not cover wear & tear, mechanical or manufacturing defects.

But you can always file a claim and have that company look at it.
