Either CoachNet or Good Sam ERS. Both are designed for the RV'er and know how to handle special emergencies should they come up.

We have CAA Premimum RV and it seems to be very good. Had to use it once while in Indiana and AAA responded in under an hour.

Good Sam are offering 2 years Roadside Assistance for $99 this includes all household cars and boat trailer, I thought that was great value so bought it.

We have CAA RV plus. Great service. When we ran out of gas on the Trans Canada near Wawa they had us back on the road in less then 1 hr. If you do decide to go with another company I would be inquiring what towing company they use. And what is their coverage across the country.

Going to give you the most possible roadside assistance options without having to pay a dime in AAA subscription. Great concept!

Jump Angels looks like a great concept but I would not depend on them if you have a major break down and need a tow. Or if you get stranded in the middle of nowhere and need help.

Great thing is. The App is free and you can see if relevent help is nearby before you spend a dime. If it's right beside you or a lot of "Angels" to choose from...the cheaper (and probably quicker) it will be.

But you are correct. Not ideal for a "major" break downs. Only claims to assist with dead batteries, lock outs, flats and the like. But, if that's what you need....perfect!

AAA also gives more services then just emergency response. The also offer trip planning, discount tickets ,etc. Plus you cannot just call AAA and ask to sign up and request road side service. You have to wait 24hr. after joining to request service.

We had the need of for our roadside assistance (Good Sams) three times. I am impressed with their service response, the fact that the first thing they ask is if we are in a safe place, and the quality of the service they send. I recommend it, and the sale price is excellent.

FYI, I have Good Sam insurance on my 2012 V-Cross 275 fiver, also on my vehicles, F250 and Chrysler mini-van, all together for the three, it was the least costly in February 2012, with Good Sam on the RV, you get their roadside assistance included. I also got one year free CoachNet from Forest River.

I have Good Sam and AAA RV premier and use them separately depending on the problem. If I am close to home or an area well known to me I will use my AAA most of the time. The only real problem I have with Good Sam is the "we will tow you to the nearest repair facility" statement. If I'm in the middle of the boondocks then okay that's great and I will use them but here in SoCal for example there are quite a few repair facilities and the nearest one might be Dowey, Cheatum, and Howe Midnight RV(or truck) Repair, and will charge $500 for a $100 fix. At that point you have at minimum just added more stress to a stressful situation. So if the AAA plan will get it to a place I trust, or in the case of a warranty repair, an approved (by my extended warranty) facility that might be 15 miles further than good sam will tow me, I'll use AAA.

With AAA Premier RV I can have my Truck towed 200 miles and my trailer towed 100 miles and yes I have had both done before on the same day.

Trailer went to a Campground about 60ish miles away while my truck was taken to a brick and mortar major franchise that accepted my truck's extended warranty about 100 miles away. And my extended warranty paid for my rental car and reimbursed me the campsite expenses. What they wouldn't reimburse was the money my DW spent at the mall while the truck was down for 2 days.

All totaled it costs less than $250 a year and that is about the cost of towing a minivan with a pop up about 30 miles using cash. Don't ask

I'll have to decide...right now we have the one year free Coach Net, our vehicles, and house with AAA, TT with Progressive (Includes ERS) and am considering Good Sam....tough decision!

I used Coachnet within my first 3 days: calipers froze on TV as car sat up too long when I was ill- they flat bedded the mini-van and towed the camper at the same time to my service center- no charge- paid for itself that one time. Have Progressive for TT
