Thinking of selling

I'm thinking of selling my 2013 Forest River Solera and am trying to find out the best way of working it out so I can look into a 5th wheel or travel trailer with a pickup to pull it. Any one out here ever done this or looked into doing it?
Any ideas?

It's best to separate the two things. If you can put up with the hassle, selling your old unit privately will bring you the most money. Start with Craigslist and RV Trader.com.

You're not likely to find someone selling BOTH their TV and trailer, so start with what you like in a trailer or 5th wheel and then start looking for the TV that will pull it.

Sell what you can.

Buy what you like.

Live like a King.

Die like a pauper.

Least, that's my plan. It's working so far.

I think it depends.. our old trailer sold in days on CL but it was cheap enough that many could afford it. I listed the motorhome there and got nothing but brokers and scammers. I have given up on CL and would be careful in using it if I were you.

You will get the most money if you sell it your self but there is also a lot of work involved.

The local Rv dealer ( who I don’t by from due to prices compared to dealers in Indiana) has several very new looking 3/4 and 1 on pickups on thier lot that people have traded in towards what I assume is a motor home.

You could trade in your coach and get a new trailer and a slightly used truck all at once.

There are also some dealers that are affiliated with car dealers deals can be made on all new.

I was neighbors with someone a couple weeks ago with a brand new 350 dually and a 35
Foot fifth wheel. He told me they traded thier 2 year old class a for the truck and trailer. The equity in the class a ended up making it a straight trade.
