Watch video about E15 gas if you have a car older than 2012

Thanks for the heads up about E15. Video was informing!
I have had problems with the E10 with my Mercury 4.3 boat engine and fuel system. I had to replace all my fuel line hose and fuel pump. I was told by a company that works on and repairs boats to get some Starbite Startron gasoline additive and use it on all full ups, so I did. What a difference! The engine runs better and even get a little better fuel mileage. So, now I put it in all of my internal combustion engines. I have also notice better fuel economy in both of my trucks. I buy the quart bottles which treat 512 gallons.
Just my 2 cents and experience.

Good video.

I wrote a letter to the EPA when they 1st proposed this craziness of E15. I think the time will come when they will phase out E10, and E15 will be lowest percentage of ethanol that will be offered at many stations.

I still buy 100% gas when ever possible, even though it costs more.

My neighbor's Cub Cadet's carb was ruined by E10 let alone E15.

If you live in a cold climate, larger concentrations of ethanol also can cause cold-start problems. The E85 postal vehicles in MN will not start below zero degrees on E85. They have to mix other gasoline get them going in the winter. And I worry after the long term effect on fuel lines, hoses, etc. And I don't think that E10 "stores" as well as pure gasoline.

I'm with MTNGUY! I buy pure gasoline for use in all of my small engines and tractors.

Corn is $7/bushel, pushing food prices up, and they are INCREASING the amount of ethanol in the gasoline?
I guess the farm vote is a lot stronger than the mom buying groceries for the kids.

It's great if you can find 100% gasoline, I would buy it. In my area it's all E10...at least its all I can find.

The premium in our area is ethanol-free.

The unfortunate part about this whole debate is that it is heavily linked to politics and special interests. It makes debate potentially inflammatory and it makes accurate information sometimes hard to come by. Pro and Con parties often tell partial truths or exaggerate/downplay potential issues. It is hard to know what to think sometimes. There is so much biased "information" out there.

I was just on the EPA site. They clearly say not to use this fuel in small engines, motorcycles, heavy trucks, etc. And they clearly say 2001 vehicles and up.

I guess all we can do is try to come to our own decision based on the sometimes suspect information we have at hand.
