No matter what tire, be sure to check the date code on the tires. We had a blowout on our Cougar due to old tires. The Cougar was a 2006 built in 2005, turns out the tires were manufactured in 2002. We thought we were towing on 3 year old tires but they were actually 6. Large manufacturers will buy warehouses full of tires to get them cheaper and therefore they age before they're even installed.
