I have had State Farm insurance for 20+ years on my cars (own 2, now) and a small jon boat with Progressive. Our new camper needed coverage and I did a comparison of the two companies in their "bundles" for multiple policies. Due to my "longevity" with State Farm, they offered the same policy as Progressive for more than $150 less per year. My home owner's policy covers my personal items I added to the camper, the car policy covers damage my camper may cause to another, and the camper policy covers total replacement of anything that came with the camper's purchase. The camper policy was $168 with $1000 deductible on a 2012 233s Roo. Advice was offered by Progressive agent: "It's always best to keep the car and trailer policies with the same company, since there will be no conflicts with which policy covers what".
