Went with the same Co. that insures the PU, one Co. makes it easy to remember who to pay.

You may just want to check out this currently active thread from the last few days.

Looks like a wide variety of the Insurance World is mentioned with a broad range of premiums. I personally have found having my Home, Auto, Boat and travel Trailer all lumped in together benefits me the most financially.

I use geico because they already have my car and truck. It covers everything from my WDH, all the way to the rear bumper and everything in between. Canopy, hotel stay if my trailer has to get towed, etc.

Why would you need insurance to tow? I know mine is covered when it is hooked to the vehicle by the vehicles policy, am I missing something?

Because a lot of Auto Policies only cover the liability side of towing and even then they have a limit. If you want to protect yourself and your investment you most likely will specifically need to get your travel trailer covered as well.
I know I am more than happy to pay the $186 a year it cost me to have my camper FULLY covered so if anything happens, my fault or someone else, I am not gonna be out my investment.

As I am from Ontario also, you may want to check what you are covered for, without comprehensive insurance applied to trailer you are only covered by liability ( payout to other party) Comprehensive ( which you have to place on trailer its self) will cover anything that happens to trailer such as somebody hitting it!

Good Sam or AARP full coverage. I have had both and Good Sam which is GMAC paid a damage claim of $17,000 when My new 5th wheel hit a boulder and went into the trees about 5 years ago. AARP is hartford insurance. Many auto insurance companies will only pay for certain things and often will not cover electronics or awnings or other things attached Get a company that writes RV Insurance.
