Travel trailer wanted

Hi everyone,

After years of working toward this, we finally have most of next summer of to travel the USA, focusing on the East coast. This may be the last opportunity we have to do this before the kids are grown. What we need now is a TRAVEL TRAILER to tow behind our Yukon 2500. We have had trailers sold out from under us and deals fall through, so we are reaching out to the community. We have been working on this for two years and narrowed it down to a bunkhouse style between 26-30 ft., 2002 and newer. (See attached pix for examples). If anyone knows of any good deals on a good Travel trailer like this, please let me know. Thank you!

Considering new and used trailer sales are at an all-time high, plan on pulling the plug quickly when you find what you want... if you hesitate on a good looking deal then you lose as often they sell within a week or two if priced reasonably...

then plan on replacing the tires first thing and getting a TPMS system...

Have you thought about a hybrid Roo or Shamrock? I have 3 queen bunks in a 21 foot package... lighter and easier to pull around...

Thanks for the advice. Newbie question, what does TPMS stand for? Also, do you replace newer tires as well? If so, why?

Considered hybrids, but as long time tent campers my wife prefers to move away the tent feel of those pull outs.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System

these days considered almost essential by many...

I own and recommend TST 507 w color monitor.

read this recent thread

How many who have TPMS on their trailers have had a tire failure?
