TST507 Great $

After reading a number of comments on the Forum about TPMS I ordered the TST-507-FT from RVupgrades.com for $297. It has 4 cap, color monitor, repeater and free shipping. Going to go to Hot Springs Ar in a couple of weeks to try them out. Then in September going to go to Gulf Shores State Park for a week. This will be our first long trip about a 10 hr drive. Any advice for a newbie? They have 4 left.
I love this forum. The things I read on here are very helpful and enjoyable to read.

Just keep an eye on sun side vs dark side as pressures and temps may vary. Not alarming unless you don't see things slowly change.

The one note I have is remove the sensors when in storage over the winter. It helps the batteries last longer. I leave them on all year but remove for winter slumber. Good luck!

I pull my sensors off when not using, they are supposed to turn off when they don't sense pressure. I can also use them on my other trailers so the system is portable you just need to know if you need the repeater on another trailer or not.

Thanks for the information. Do you have to reprogram them each time you put them back on?

No, as long as you have marked them as to which one is left front, right front etc.

it sounds like you found a great deal. The TST507 works great. you will see a buildup of tire pressure of 10 to 20 lbs from my experience. More so on asphalt than concrete and the side in the sun will always run hotter. I have the color monitor and curious how you have it mounted. actually I haven't used the color monitor because I don't know how to mount it where it will stay on the dash. I still use the original monitor.
