Upgrade 6504 or trade

I currently have a 2013 Vibe 6504 which we like .I do not like the 3500 axle with 14 in tires.I can swap axle to the current 4400 axle with 15 in tires(d rated tires) for $1400.We like the looks of the 2014 Apex 235bh which would run me $6100 difference plus $300 sales tax along with having to trade my e2 hitch(maybe as Mutch as $300).I would like some feedback 1)the axle swap2)Apex 235bh quality compared to Vibe.Your opinions appreciated!
