Way to go Forest River!

From Bloomberg.com Aug 07, 2010:

Profit from Berkshire’s manufacturing, service and retailing businesses more than doubled to $671 million on gains at recreational- vehicle maker Forest River and toolmaker Iscar Metalworking Cos.

We can look at this several ways:
  1. Forest River makes good products
  2. Warren Buffett picked a good investment
  3. We picked a good RV manufacturer

Now let's hope some (if not more) of that profit continues to make its way to QC

5. Forest River's revenues stayed the same & expenses (expenditures) dropped.

6. Financing an RV has become easier.

The sales would not be where they are without the advancement of funds.

The statment below was copied from another site:
RVs are cheaper than a vacation home, RV travelers save on hotels, and are rather appealing to those who prefer comfortable and economical over fast paced and glitzy. RV family vacations can be as much as 70% less expensive than other types of vacations.

and Mr. Buffett is the largest producer of wind energy in the U.S.

our 06 cedar creek was a fantastic rv, and honestly the quality in it is better than in my bus.

Wonder what they're going to do with all that money they got from all of us?

Thanks,
Just thought I'd ask. I see quite a bit being towed like that, but they're not headed to the campground.
