What are you guys seeing for Storage costs?

Want to get an idea of storage costs and what amenities you are getting for it.

Example - do they have 110 to keep a trickle charge on your batteries, or do they do winterizing for you? will they pull it up for you the day you want to get it, things like that?

Thanks

Rob

$75 for keypad entry, 3 hrd walls and chainlink fence for my unit. No electric. Has on site air and water. I live about 2 miles from the storage facility so I have no problems going to get it or bring the battery. Now the nicer facility that has a wash bay, electric, dump station, maintenance, keypad entry, and 4 hard walls is $175 for a 12x50.

$1500 a year for heated storage with a key issued to us. Electricity is available and I am able to work on the trailer at any time. They only ask that you do not sand anything in the building.

$175 month to month for 20x60 covered pull through with 30 amp service, 24 hour code access and surveillance cameras. We could park the tv there as well, some do.

$80/month for a 40' x 12' parking spot inside of a fenced area with gate code. No electric or other utilities and no services by the storage lot. I bring it home if I need to work on it. It's a simple lot and it's up to me to pull my camper out and park it when I'm done (though, it's a nice layout and roomy for maneuvering).

$50.00 per month for a parking space just large enough for my trailer (10' x 40') inside secured fence with code access 24 hours a day. No other amenities. I live close by so I usually get and bring to house to work on.

100 per month, inside storage. Well insulated, owners do not winterize their trailers. Only downside is that it's there for the winter. Huge warehouse about 45 minutes away.

$65 a month for outside storage with coded electric gate, no electricity available, all lighted, every inch covered by security cams, 12 ft high chainlink fence. We are allowed to work on our units 24/7 which is where I am several days a week [it's my hobby]. Keep gen chained to light pole at rear of my space. No need to winterize here in SE GA.

This is something that will vary greatly depending on where you live. Here in NC a gated/fenced storage lot with outside uncovered gravel lot parking (no amenities/no hook ups etc) will cost $50/month. Covered indoor storage with will run $100-300/month depending on size of trAiler.

Our lot is less than 5 min from home, has video surveillance and lights. We have keypad access from 5am to 9pm seven days per week. Parking is easy as safe there.

Same here in northern Illinois - $50.

I paid $120 a month (four years ago for "covered" (breezeway cover on top) storage, and I had to pay $5 extra to get to plug into an outlet.

We are $36 per month, lights, Mennonite Security and gravel lot. The Dealer 1/2 mile away owns the lot and checks it daily.

$70.00 a month 12x35 covered on three sides. No Electric, has water and a dump station. Plenty of room to move around and work on the unit.

Free. I park it on my parents 3 acres. I plan on running a 30amp box out to it. HOA would probably allow it, but it would take up most of my backyard and be a bear to back in there off the street

Normally keep ours at home but lately the Fall months we store it at the Campground for outside storage they haul it to & from the campsite (We usually go 4 to 5 times saves us $100 in fuel each time) for three months $190. Down side it is 250 miles away and we have no access to it unless prearranged. But it sits with approx. 2000 other campers when it is there.

I pay $115 per month for temperature and humidity control storage. This is a mine so I do not have to winterize my Forester 3011. Price varies with unit size. I used to have the the Forester 2861 and it was $100 per month. I love it. The unit is clean and in a great shape when I take it out in the spring.

We pay $160/mo for a 40 ft pull through. 24 hr access, but nothing else. It is gated though. Damn, I wish I could find a place with electric and a lot less a month. Jerry.

I pay $75 a month in southern CA, gated 10x40 gravel parking spot. Owner lives onsite (he converted his 2 acre parcel into RV storage to help him pay for his RVing. He lives on site and only rule is if I'm coming after dark to give him a heads up so he doesn't come out to meet me with his shotgun. Wish I could find something with power. Place next door was $10 a month cheaper but had access hours of Mon - Fri 8 AM to 5 PM. Doesn't work well for anyone that has a job.
