What can I get for 18-20K?

Looking at a TT, tons of questions, but one is: what is out there?

What got this started was getting rained on in our PUP and having to put it away wet. Was in dealer and saw they had several Grey Wolf's on sale. The one we liked most was the 28BH, with the power package for 16.5K.

We liked several things about the Wolf 28BH - the slide, the power stabilizer jacks, ducted A/C, back rack, oven, etc. However my wife commented that many of the materials felt very cheap, and the floor tends to give slightly as you walk on it.

It feels like good value for the money, but wondering what else is out there for a few K more, say 18-20 out the door.

This dealer does not have anything cheaper than 24K which is simply more than we are willing to pay. Feels like a huge hole between 16 and 24K.

How large are you capable of going? Puma's make a decent trailer in that range. I got my 30dbss for just under 18k. It is a large trailer though at almost 8k loaded for camping.

located in KC. I have not seen a single product with the Flagstaff name on it less than 24K. maybe it is the dealers around here, but I am shopping internet too. The large dealers in IA and MI look to have some good prices.

Prime tracer has some good value stuff as well. Thing is, are you looking at dealer msrp, or what you could potentially NEGOTIATE down to 18-20k?? because there could be a BIG difference in numbers there....pretty much no one pays msrp. 20-30% off is where it seems most people end up.

so your looking at something in the 23-26k MSRP range, if your talking OTD with tax, title , and doc fees....it can be done and there are a TON of options out there to choose from...i wish i had a more specific recommendation, but im sure you will get a lot here anyway!! good luck!
