What slide topper to buy?

I really don't wanna make another slide topper thread as there is so many of them.
But most of the threads I read were about needing a topper or not.

My question is what slide topper to buy.(performance / quality and so on)
Are there some models to stay away from for whatever reason?
Or This one is better then that one because of....
Are there upgrades to consider??

Thanks

as far as i know, there are only two manufacturers of toppers, Dometic and Carefree.
so you don't have many to choose from.

Dometic has 3 models the deluxe / full and elite.
Other then appearance why spend the extra money?
And now they have the EZ line up of toppers adding 2 more.

i think mine is the cheaper Deluxe model and has been working fine for 7 years now.

i forgot about the different price levels of toppers.

I've been searching awhile and this thread is "closest" to my question. Trying to find out if anyone has found any in colors that match a 2014 Shasta Phoenix 33CK like brown maybe? Dealer quoted white and don't think that will look real good.

The Carefree of Colorado ones offer a much wider selection of colors and option, and if I remember correctly have 3 different levels.. the I, II, and III. When I was pricing one out for my rig the dometic deluxe was on sale for something like $235 and the Carefree was on sale for $579. I still haven't decided if I'm going to try one, but I'm sure not going to give one a whirl for $600. :-)
