It's a shame that they couldn't get the sway problem fixed. I bet their kids would have enjoyed camping. Good for you, though!

Well at 32 im hardly keeping up with the jones', heck I am the jones'!! We dont have anybody our age to camp with hardly everybody is 10-30 years older than us. Except sister in law and her husband bought a cousin Eddy '80s MH this spring.
We could have payed cash for our first 5er that we ordered last year but optioned to finance part of it. But at 10 months old it was totalled by hail from our terrible storm season we had in may here in OK. Finally deposited our last insurance check and extended warranty refund check today, and will probbably order a new 5er in a few months.(and we more than broke even on original purchase price on it)
-Pretty much can afford it because I have and am working my butt off. I work my 7-4+ at a dealership and then have gone home to other work at farming, trucking, heavy construction, or more mechanic or body work on the side (sometimes the side pays more than the day job).
Wife stays home with the 3 kids and runs them around and watches a couple of kids for friends for some of "her money".
We pay cash for alot of stuff and buy right and make wise financial desicions (of course other than buying an rv-lol) and I do side, truck work for our rv dealer, so I think they can beat rv wholesalers for me!
But bottom line is God has blessed us more than we will ever deserve, and I am eternally greatfull!

X eleventy!

I say this as I sit here in a valley, surrounded by God's handiwork....magestic mountains...quiet except for crickets outside, a moth beating against the side of the RV/lights, and our dog Fred snoring on the floor in perfect time with DH's snoring in the Lazy Boy recliner beside me.

Only one more night here in this beautiful place then we head home....and start planning for our next trip.

MillerTime - if Paul Harvey were alive, I'd send that to him, and I bet he would read it on the air.
May God continue to bless you and everyone in the U.S. of A.!

Weezer - Ageless? They call it "touched" where I come from! LOL

Working my behind off between 2 fire depts. Full time and part time makes me gone from home a lot. Plus instructing now. Wife is a nurse so she is gone for long hours also. Camping is really the only way that we are able to bring our family together for days at a time. Small dinky house and big camper. Go figure.

Ditto for us-but we are sharing a bit with our only daughter who just gave us our first grandchild!
