Go into the purchase knowing that others may not assess any value to the paint. Also, if a panel falls off or gets damaged you can't just replace it with a new white one. The repaint on the new panel can cost hundreds and if the original paint is older it still might not match up. We have full paint on our forrester but I didn't pick the rig because of the paint. I picked it for the floor plan and negotiated the cost of the full paint off of the sticker. I like the look but agree with the other folks in that if I trade it later I won't get a dime for the paint. That being said I plan to drive the wheels off this thing and I like the paint

"To paint or not to paint, that is the question"

Or something like that. I really appreciate the thoughts, comments, and observations on full body paint (we are talking body paint for RVs not Sports Illus.) as being a personal choice that you must accept as the price for the look. I wasn't sure if it would bring more at the time you sell it, unless you also found someone that likes the look, but for way less than you paid for it at the dealer. We will be moving to a FW after the first of the year; something in the 38'-42' range. We may also look at units a year or two old and, who knows, buy one with full paint. I have to remember to beat them down on the body paint price. LOL!
