2011 Forest River - Rockwood Roo 23SS Hybrid Travel Trailer

Meticulously maintained Roo 23SS. Fully up to date with all maintenance and road ready for your family to enjoy immediately. Towable with ton or larger pickup or SUV, this camper can comfortably sleep 8. Features a full galley kitchen, refrigerator/freezer, separate bathroom with shower. On board furnace, ducted 13,500 Btu air conditioning, electric heated mattresses, and Fantastic fan keeps this camper comfortable in all seasons. This camper also features an AM/FM/CD/DVD/MP3 player with inside and outside speakers, crank up HDTV antenna, and an AM/FM whip antenna.
Included in the sale of this camper:
Custom Reflectix (mylar foiled bubble insulation) inserts for all canvas windows, Reflectix insulation under both bunks, and high wind series PopUp Gizmos (mylar foil tent covers which help reflect the hot sun and helps to contain warmth in the cooler seasons). The thermostat for the heat and air conditioning has been upgraded with a digital unit that allows precise temperature control.
22 Insigna HD LCD flat screen TV on an articulating arm mount. This TV has been modified for direct 12V operation that allows its use without the use of a 120V inverter. The audio signal from the TV is also patched into the coach sound system and there is a spare HDMI input for hookup to your iPod/iPhone or laptop. The entire entertainment system will operate off 12V from the battery and will allow you to enjoy your favorite movies, even when boon docking and off grid in the woods!
Custom adjustable closet shelving installed in the rear wardrobe that gives a massive amount of storage for a trailer of this size. Also included are custom shelves and dividers in the galley cabinets for increased storage of cups, glasses, and plates.
Bathroom Fantastic Fan has been equipped with a MaxAir vent cover to allow the vent to remain open no matter the weather. The front vent in the living room is equipped with a MaxAir Power Vent unit. Both power vents provide an incredible amount of air flow.
The black tank has been equipped with a Tank Tornado black tank rinser. The water heater has a bypass kit installed which allows for painless winterizing. All water lines have been insulated with Rubtex insulation to quiet operation and maintain heated water. The low point drains and the freshwater tank drain have been replaced with ball valves to allow for easy draining. Both the black water and gray water dump valves were just replaced to ensure trouble-free operation. The water heater which operates on both propane and electricity has a brand new anode rod installed. The furnace and water heater exhaust both have stainless steel insect screens installed.
Almost every interior incandescent light has been replaced with super bright LED lights. These LED lights use about 20% of the power the originals used with just as much light. This energy efficiency does two things - it does not cause the interior to heat up as much and it extends the amount of time the trailer can function off grid without hookups or the use of a generator. There is also additional LED task lighting installed over the kitchen sink.
Additional 12V outlets have been installed for 12V TV operation and cell phone or device chargers. Additional 120V outlets installed outside for convenience when camping with hookups. A 400W inverter is also installed to provide limited 120V power from the battery if needed. A device charging station is also included with this sale, the charging station has a multiple outlets to accommodate and organize multiple chargers.
There are quite a few upgrades which have been added that make travel easier in this camper. There is a water pump override switch installed in the bathroom that allows temporary actuation of the water pump while making roadside bathroom breaks. A switch was installed close to the entry door to control ceiling lights when entering and exiting. A retractable clothes line was installed above the shower to dry wet clothes and towels. The shower curtain has been weighted (ceramic weights) along the bottom to help keep water contained while using the shower. The screen door has been equipped with a spring closure to help keep insects outside. There is also a LED rope light installed below the awning that gives convenient subtle lighting when outdoors. There was a vast amount of lost storage due to wasted space from dummy panels installed in the cabinets, these panels have been removed to allow for easy service and winterizing as well as for greater storage. All of the removed panels are included with this sale and will be provided.
