Blue Ox Sway Pro for sale, like new, $400

Blue Ox BXW 1000 Sway Pro weight distributing hitch with built in sway control and hitch ball. 1000 lb tongue weight maximum load equalizing bars. Purchased new in July of this year with our 2011 Rockwood 2901SS, only used four times. This is by far the easiest hitch to install, setup, hook to, and use that I have ever owned. Everything is included that you will need to hook-up and go. Lists for nearly $700 new (and this one is in like new condition). Selling because I found a great deal on a Hensley Arrow and a 33 ft long trailer is too much length for my Avalanche (wheelbase too short).

$400 plus shipping or make offer
you may contact me at hoffmank2@asme.org for more information or pictures of the hitch

SwayPro™ utilizes the latest in weight distributing technology to be the most user-friendly hitches on the market today. SwayPro™ eliminates trailer sway under heavy loads, high winds, and rutted roads utilizing 2 sway control loops and 2 points of friction - just set the amount of control you require for your individual cargo or driving conditions. With just one look at SwayPro™, you can see our commitment to quality and durability.
Features:
• Easy hook up & disconnect.
• Spring bars snap into the head sockets. They can not fall out.
• Four separate points of adjustable contact to stop trailer sway.
• Tongue brackets utilize sway control loops which stop side-to-side trailer sway, but still provide for free movement during turns.
• Head angle conveniently adjusted by a thumbscrew.
• Easy to operate tongue bracket lock. Automatically secures into place and releases with the simple push of a lock pin.
• Grease is "captured" inside the spring bar head socket.
• Minimum tongue weight of 300 lbs.
• Durable powder coat finish.

Thank you, I have only towed with the hitch once (last outing of the season) but it was 100% different (all in a good way) than a conventional hitch. Sway was completely gone and the trailer turned a lot more predictably. It is hard to describe but the swing when turning is not as severe.

Shipping is about $80 to $90 (it is quite heavy) or since you are not that far from me we could meet about halfway like in or near Findlay to save on shipping.

Let me think about it. If you get a chance to sell it, go ahead. How did it work with your Avalache?

Big Dawg, The SwayPro worked very well with my Avalanche. This is by far the easiest to setup and use hitch that I have owned in our 15+ years of camping. Depending on the ball height of your trailer you may not need to adjust it much. Reason I upgraded was I found a deal on a Hensley that I couldn't pass up and my 33 ft trailer swayed a little too much for my liking in high crosswinds when running above 55 on the interstate.
