Diablo Predator Tuner
This is a Diablo Predator Tuner Model U7186 used to install a performance/economy tune in and 2005.5 -2007 Duramax. I used it twice. Once to install a tune and once to remove the tune as it's trade in time. It is complete with: [1] serial to tuner cable, [1] USB to tuner cable, [1] AC adapter and all manuals. With diesel at $4.50+ here in AZ it should pay for it self in just a few tanks of fuel.

Wow, a quick google search shows them for as little as $210. delivered from wickedauto. Might want to rethink that price....

I did a Google before I posted and the lowest I found is $280 without the accessories plus shipping. As with all items for sale the final price can be adjusted. I googled "WickedAuto" and came up with a repair/restoration service in the northeast. Thank you for the input.

Thanks for the correction. I think there is an error listing the U7186 as applicable to the gas engines listed. I specifically searched for the Duramax tuner when I conducted my search. If they are selling the Duramax tuner for that price and I was in the market for one I'd make them sell it to me at that price. Best regards, John

I'm not trying to derail your sale...I just hate to put something on Craigslist or somewhere and just sit on it because I've priced it higher than market. You might be correct that it's not the same or not for the Duramax. Anyway, good luck. What are you going to replace your Duramax with?

At the moment it's open. I've driven the Dodge and the ride is too rough for these old bones so it's either going to be another Duramax or a Ford. It depends on the economics. Best regards, John

Shem, I'll try to do my best. I'm an Engineer so I just deal in facts. Last year I purchased a new Sabre from RVW in Ohio. The trip from AZ to OH I did a 500m mi test on the trip. With cruise control at 55mph empty I recorded 22.8 with the economy tune and 19.3 with out. Towing on the way back, on the same points, same conditions I saw 12.1 vs 10.6. As you might know there are different "tunes" I always ran the middle tune except for the mountains in Colorado where I ran the mild tune to keep the exhaust gas temperatures low.
