SOOOOOO. Now that I am assembling my kit, I am wondering what kind of straps and anchors that you have had success with. I've seen a couple options on EBAY etc. but what DO YOU"S FOLKS USE. Screw in anchors, stakes, big nails, what?

I haven't installed mine yet, but I am going to use the screw in dog anchors like this and straps like these 1" Cambuckle Strap w/Vinyl S Hooks - Shipper's Supplies

This is what I used on our manual awning and they worked good, so i figured I would recycle them.

Got the inner poles finished for the 4 new sets of pvc tie downs in production now.

Prototype set just has an alum slug in the end and would require a new form die which was too much trouble. This new end will use the regular attaching brackets with no change. It is a 2" long slug with 1" inside the pole resting on a shoulder and pop riveted in place so there is no wear on the pvc tubing.
