Got mine Thursday. Sanded with 400 grit. Painted, black to match my awning frame, the outer poles and the tops of the inner ones, along with top and bottom brackets. Going to polish the rest i think. I'll get some pics once installed, but the weather is gonna have to clear up and warm up first!
Thanks OC !

Glad to hear you got them. What are you going to polish if you already painted the brackets the inner & outer poles? Nothing left to polish. However, they do look sharp polished.

Only takes about 30 minutes to install, wear gloves and a coat.

I left the inner pole shaft, that slides into the outer pole, plain to polish. Figured if i painted that part, the paint would flake off. So it'll be black and shiny.

Should look sharp when you're finished.

Maybe we should combine forces.

Turbs and Amy are going to have to drink water or coffee if we don't sell the last 4.

Ship UPS tomorrow and get them yet this week so you can enjoy your power awning this summer.

Yay!!! My kit shipped today. Estimated delivery late Wednesday. Warm clear weather forecast for Thursday. Good day to install.

Members must not realize you have these bargain kits available. Still feel lucky to get mine before you were out. Glad I was online last week.
