Removing front TV

Hello Everyone! Does anybody know how to remove the front TV? My parents want to upgrade their TV and asked me to find a TV that would fit there but I need to get the true measurements of the opening and current TV.

Thanks

My entertainment center has pocket for a tv. It is an 2006 8314 model. From looking at the new models, they have a "v" or "u" shape bracket one mounted on the wall and one mounted on the back of the tv as stated above you should be able to lift it up and it should come right off. Just make sure all of your wiring is disconnected. If you are going to install a bigger tv you may need to change both brackets if the tv is a different manufacture. I made a mod on my entertainment center and installed a 32" LCD. If you have an interest go to mods and up dates and look for "Entertainment mod on 8314 SS". The bracket I used is just one type that can be used. Once the tv is in place then it can be locked down on the bracket and will not move. While looking for a tv, I wanted all of the connection to be at the bottom not in the very back. I found that the Vizio worked best for me. So consider where your connection need to be for the best insulation possiable and access. Good luck.
