Trailer Brake Lights

The brake lights on any trailer that is connected to the motorhome will not work however the turning signals and running lights stilll do. We have checked all of the fuses as well as changed the trailer module out with no luck. Any ideas?

Do the brake lights work on the motor home? The brake light and turn signal are the same filament in most applications. If the turn signals work on the trailer, and the brake lights work on the tow vehicle, then brake lights have no choice but to work. Check the brake lights on the tow vehicle, with the trailer hooked up.

by any chance are the brake lights and turn signal lights the same bulbe on the trailer but seperate lights on the motorhome?
if that is the case, automotive parts houses sell an adapter that combine the brake and turn signal wiring.
