12 Volt Cabin Lights

Had a few lights finally go out over the bathroom sink and dining table and I am going to replace them with LED's. How do you turn the glass fixture to replace in the socket and what specific LED's are you using would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think they are LED's and just place you palm against the cover, push in and turn counter clockwise.

On our 2012 Solera, the interior lights were halogen. As Mike said, the lights open on ours by turning the whole external glass lense AND the metal ring around the glass about an eighth or a quarter turn counterclockwise. Some turned with difficulty. I think I used a strap wrench on some of them - eventually got them all. I bought LEDs from Amazon, but I am sure the ones I bought over four years ago are not the same now. Suggest you pick out a few different types, buy two or three of each, try them - then decide which you like best. Some are too large to fit easily within the lense.
Mine have worked flawlessly for four years now, and use about 1/10 the power of the halogens.
