When I get the receipt tomorrow - I'll post everything they did. I do know they said it would take several hours. This is a real Sprinter dealership ... maybe that is why they are more expensive. Stay tuned .... anyone else get their 20,000 mile service and have a different experience?

Sounds about right. Had my 30,000 mile service at Freightliner. Inspect, lube, oil, filter and service transmission. Did not rotate tires. $1100. And, they overfilled transmission by 2 quarts. 400 miles down the road I could start to smell it. Stopped in Medford, OR where the Mercedes guy refilled it with the correct amount for $130.

Now I'm almost due for the 40,000 mile service.

I guess it depends on what they do to your rig. We are dealing with dealer ships here which always means higher prices because of the size of the staff their paying. Beside the mechanic and service rep. you have the parts guy, the billing office and who's know what else.

Well, it was a bit less than I was told. They said the Solera was too heavy to go on their rakes, so couldn't flush the break lines or rotate the tires. The fuel filter alone was $144! Oh well, they washed it too - so it's all good. Now ready for the next adventure!

Ha-ha! No, but I think a nice glass of wine or a martini is in order. But can now only afford a beer! :-(

What exactly was done to your Solera Debbie. I was waiting to hear back on the details about what was done @ 20k service interval, that could get the bill to 1200 bucks by the stealer.
