Correct. There is a glass stove cover that doesn't rattle like the metal ones. As for the sofa bed we should be able to do it in the 24R as well. (At least I hope since I ordered one that way).

24S is a flush floor slide. So just a different platform to work with.

Actual rating has always been GCWR-GVWR. However the sticker on the hitch will actually reflect this instead of the 3500 that was on there before.

I am new to the forum. Just took delivery of a new 24R. There was concern in this thread about the outside connector for the power cord. My wife and I lived on a sailboat for 11 years, mostly in the Caribbean. We used the same power cord and external connector without an issue and it was exposed to more extreme conditions then most motor homes will experience.

I don't see why not. It would just be hardwired to a faceplate and you'd have to buy a new cord. Problem is cutting a hole in the sidewall, with no backer to attach the face plate.
