2014 Solera R slider and elect shock issues

After about 20 uses the dining room slider will not extend. Left side (facing table view) will extend about 6 inches. The right side will not extend at all. Due home from trip tomorrow and expect another one of a number of dealer visits for warranty work.

Also when stepping onto extended side entry step with damp bare feet received elect shock???? Not sure what that was about.

You have the same problem a few of us have had. You have a disconnected wire to one of the motors on either side of the slide. Ours was actually a connector came unplugged which we were able to plug back in ( it took a little arm and hand contortion). Upper left on the DR slide. Could also be a broken wire. You have just one motor working that tweaks the slide. I have no idea on your shock issue.

Thank you barbhalsell! My neighbor is thinking that when a wire came disconnected it touched metal thus making the entire RV "hot" .... thus the shock. Anyway I will be scheduling another appointment... let them handle it.

When I pulled my bathroom vent, I found these exposed wires. They were right up at the top edge of that sheet metal. When I reached up to pull them I got bit.

Looks like there were some wiring quality control issues for our 2014's.

Yep. And I've had a number of other quality issues as well.
