24B Sofa / Bed

We love our 24B with the exception of the sofa / bed . When made into a bed it just is not comfortable. Have tried mattress toppers, memory foam, air bed.
Memory foam did not work for my wife and we cannot find a 60" X 75" air bed to keep the isle open to the bathroom. Plus as we get older would like a simple open and close answer that does not require extra steps and storing parts elsewhere. Just wondering if anyone has been able to upgrade the sofa / sleeper or come up with a workable answer. Our local RV people say our options are restricted by the raised floor in the Solera slide

Flexsteel makes an air over coils sofa bed that works on a slide floor...just not sure how high. I think it was 2".

We were told by a flexsteel dealer that that would not work because of the raised slide floor ??

Just won't sit flat since the legs of the sofa bed would not reach. I'm sure there is a way around that.
