Is there any reason why you couldn't drive the 24R with the rear slide extended?
We tow a car and the slide fits nicely over the tow bar, i.e. it does not interfere with anything.
Yes, no slides are designed to be extended in transit. The other issue would be backdraft. You would have dirt and water being forced into any slide gap it could find.
