24R split bed

Thinking of buying a 24R. Has anyone had a problem with the split bed.

No problem here either, but did put a foam pad on top as it was a little hard for me. As one other person has said just stand next to the bottom and hold in place if you have a foam pad when you pull the slide in and it all moves very nicely into place.

Split Mattress is fine by us and we have had ours since August 2013. We did put 2 inch egg shell-type topper on it to soften it some. Enjoy !!

Solera 24R Split Mattress

Great comments. How do you "make" the bed in the morning? We can't imagine how neatly / easily it folds up for travel. We're getting closer to making a buying decision and haven't been able to find one to try out on a rental anywhere (would love it if anyone knows where we could find one!)

Thanks for any input to help with our decision!

When the slide moves in, the rear half of the mattress slides on top of the forward half (mattress is cut on a bias). To make the bed, pull the rear half of the mattress forward place the bedding, then push the half back in place.

I only have one dealer that rents them right now. A dealer near Portland, Oregon. Just added another in Colorado Springs.

Not sure if we have any on the east coast.

24R Bed

Do you have to make and unmake the bed every day? I was considering the back slider but thought it would be a real pain to have to take the sheet and blankets off every time you brought the slider in or out.
