Love our 24R and love the Mecedes. Replaced our couch with dual reclining loveseat and is great to lay back and nap on. Could easily sleep the night if had any reason not to slide the rear bed out.

Unfortunately that is not completely accurate. I talked to one of their reps and they have adjusted their pricing. Part of the issue is that they get a lot of their parts from the US, so they're paying a premium. They have also "adjusted" their pricing a bit to account for the exchange rate. Him and I were both speculating that this was just extra profit, but the US parts makes some sense.

As a complete aside, if you decide that the smaller size of the Sprinter based units fits your requirements; the used ones we saw while shopping were not abundant and cost as much, if not more, than the new ones.

I agree the used ones are high. In shopping I have found the solera at "discount" rv centers are the best buy. While the used ones are priced high they do not sell easily. I have been looking for a few months and many have not sold. They appeal to a selective audience.
