Ancillary brake systems

We're looking at brake systems for our Solera and jeep. What are you using and any pro's or con's.

The utb vacuum brake kit was installed on my jeep
Pros
Works fantastic
Invisible in jeep
Went down huge grades including a 7 percent grade that was 9 miles long
No problem
Cons
Expensive
If I loose the emergency disconnect
Plastic piece I'm in trouble
