Another slide-out question

We have a 2011 SLED. I recently noticed that when the slide room is retracted, the entire back wall moves in about 1/2 inch. As the flange starts to make contact with the outside wall it pushes the wall in. It pushes it enough to actually move the vanity and the cabinet over it about a half inch.

Is this normal? I just had the dealor adjust it six or eight months ago.

Thank you.

I would say not. I can't speak for your model but of all the brands I've been in I've never seen it do that. I would take it back and show the dealer.

Typcially you want it to compress the seals then stop. If re readjusts it check it on the lot before you leave.

I just went and checked my slide, I can't see any movement on the wall when deploying or retracting the slide. I just doesn't sound right for that much movement of the wall, I'd have it checked again.

Agree with Henry. Mine doesn't move any wall. If you want to adjust, bclemens has posted some instructions on the forum - or go to the Lippert website and find instructions for your mechanism: Owners Manuals

Sounds like a stop is set too far in. Should be stopping at the wall and not trying to move it in.
