Anyone install Winnebago View table in a Solera

One of the options available for a Winnebago View (very similar to the Solera) is a pedestal table for the driver and passenger seats when they are swiveled around 180 degrees.

Has anyone done this? What was the cost?

All it is is a table top, a pedestal and a plate attached to the floor. It would be a show stopper if the floor where the plate would be attached is not structurally sound for this application.

this is the same question i have! l assume that the floor plate would have a recess socket that goes into the floor (not the slide out). i would think that structural strength would not be an issue. checking clearance from underneath the coach would verify where it could go. of course it would be a tripping point on the floor.it would take some courage to cut a hole in the floor. any way, good luck.

I saw a View with the plate installed. It sticks up about 1/4 to 3/8 inch. It did not recess into the floor. The plate was flush mount.

I could not tell if the bolts holding the plate were lag bolts or through bolts.

I do not know what material is below the mounting location. I wish I had crawled underneath to try determining the construction.
