Bad Weather problems???

I'm hopeful that things are just due to the cold weather. But I have an engine light staying on and my generator is flashing a service needed signal. I'll wait until the warm weather comes to stay before getting too concerned.

Generators need constant maintenance, oil and filter changes are suggested at or about every 25 hours of run time.

Is the oil level low?

Oil level is fine, I really think it's just the cold weather. I've only run my generator about once a month to see that it's working. Never had to use it accept for that reason. If it continues to show service after the weather warms up I will service it and see what happens. Thanks.

Henry-is the MB engine light staying on? If so, is it flashing? May need a checkup by dealer. If you have a scanguage (or similar) you can reset the check engine light & if it comes back on you'll know it needs to be checked.

Thanks Ed, I do have a vehicle code reader that I've been thinking of using. It's just been too cold around here to get out and work on anything. Weather is starting to improve thou so will probably start looking into it this week sometime.

Checked the Solera with a computer today, showed a fuel/O2 mixture problem. I'm thinking the diesel was trying to jell up on me when I was running the engine back in January. cleared the code and everything working fine now.
