Big foot rear stabilizing system

Just wondering if anyone has installed this system. When we bought our solera we also went inside a unit with this system or a like system on it and my wife really liked it but I wanted the brown paint . Dealer said 5g but saw it on line for 1460 self install

5G sounds like a 4 point system. What we do at the factory is just a 2 point stabilizer. Big Foot in White Pigeon will know more.

The big foot is what I saw on line with a picture of a solera for 1475
Just wondering how hard to install
The dealer said his cost to install was 3k
Maybe he marks up solera 5k with system installed and you negotiate
It was a 2 point system

I know mercedes doesn't let us weld to their frame...so it should be a "bolt on" application. They have pretty good customer service, might be able to walk you through it.

Don't want to cause electrical probs with new rig

I took a picture of how the rear stabilizer connection is made on my Solera.
It may be hard to visualize, but there is a bolt on bracket that goes across to each side. not an easy fit up from what I can tell. There is the matter of running the hydraulic hoses and mounting the pump and control unit.

Well, I don't like the looks on this install. Is that line touching the exhaust?

I agree wincrasher, if it isn't touching, it will get melted just from being close to the exhaust pipe. Bad wire routing IMO.

Could be fixed with a shield maybe. I'd put one in that upper corner and route both lines by it.
