My understanding is that the invisi brake is installed in the toad. Its monitor is installed in the RV. the stealth controls either a trailer or a toad. for the stealth to control the toad, its main unit is installed in the toad too. If you hook up a trailer, it controls it the same way any brake controller does, through the 7 pin connector. The invisibrake requires a separate brake controller if you also pull a trailer. I am new to this and getting very confused as there are so many variations to get the job done.

I plug my jeep in with a 7 prong plug
Below the front bumper of the jeep.
It used the solera plug. Controller wired into the dash just above the key .

Our Solera is at RV service now for the install and we hope to have it back early next week. As to where to connect I was advised to back trace from the 7-pin connector at the bumper and look for the forest river "panel" ( which depending on your model may be behind a panel in storage compartment or behind the drawers to side of the fridge) and connect on the "out to back bumper " side.

I live in rancho penasquitos. If you would like to see my set up let me know. My rubicon weighs in at 4k
Solera handled it great but I was not going to cheap out on stopping . I told them to put best system in.

Thanks Doug. it's good to know it pulled 4k easily. I was going to pull a Ford c-max hybrid which weighed in at 3600#, but I heard there are some issues with hybrids so I'm thinking of getting a Ford Fiesta which can be towed 4 on the ground and only weighs 2200#. Planning multiple cross country trips so less weight is better. Still have some thinking to do but I might take you up on your offer in a week or two. thanks again.

2200 you won't even know it back there. We had ours done at San Diego trailer. They set up our jeep so when not towing you wouldn't know there was a system installed. We went with the blue ox system.
