Cargo Hold Latches

We're having trouble with the cargo hold latches. They are sometimes difficult to open, other times don't entirely 'grab'. We have to go around and press them firmly closed until we hear them click or they will pop open while driving. I don't see that anyone else has mentioned this problem.

Is there something we can do to make them work more smoothly? Two of them are particularly stubborn. Can we buy replacements? Any other suggestions? This is on a 2014 Solera 24R.

(And we won't bother to ask the dealer for assistance. As soon as we paid and drove away we were basically 'in their rearview mirror.')

I would lubricate the aluminum catch On the coach side along with the plastic plunger on the door side. Also make sure you put pressure on the door when opening. The sealing gasket puts pressure outward on the latch and it can make it difficult to open.

I use Liquid Wrench dry lubricant on both locks and latches. This should help when closing the latches as well as making the locks work smoothly. I reapply about every month or two.
