Exclamation Check roof for leaks

Checking roof seals for leaks ,

We have a 2015 FR Solera 24R and just returned from dealer service where we bought our RV . This unit is practically new , and I am unable to get on roof to inspect it ! Recently had water dripping in at overhead lite above radio on ceiling and then it stopped nothing else and was put in storage for a few weeks . Upon reopening saw water stains all over headliner over forward bunk . Brought into dealer and this is what he reported :
Visual inspection of roof found the sealant at the front termination strip to be cracked and has large voids that are obviously allowing water to pass into the cab over . Also found clearance lights at the front to have voids in their sealant or not sealed at all . Also found roof fixtures and skylight to have cracked and failed sealant . Recommend complete clean and reselling of the roof and all fixtures . Also resealing front clearance lights .
The bill for the sealant and shop supplies came to $ 127.47 and labor came to $ 326.50 .
Total bill $ 453.97
Apparently The FR factory quality control people slipped up on this Solera ! Only 2years old! Now we are stuck with a water stained ceiling above front bunk which will probably effect its resale value !
I guess all other Solera owners better crawl up on their roofs for an inspection!

I probably check my roof once per month during my camping season (May thru September). - whenever I wash it I also wash the roof and check it.

Angry Warranty issue?

It appears that this is a common problem with Forest River, particularly Solera model. In that case isn't it a manufacturer defect? Having a water stained headliner in a 2015 RV is not a pleasant sight!
What is the remedy? New headliner, costly.
