Converter blown fuses

Hello

My batteries will not charge from generator. I have located converter and found 2 blown fuses. I replaced them and they blew again. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution? ( other than a new converter)

Thanks
Andy. 2011 24s

Most likely your batteries are installed backwards.
Check and verify your wiring is correct.

The 2 blown fuses are the reverse current protection fuses.

Any update on this. Sounds serious to have batteries installed backward. Wouldn't that spark like crazy when connecting the terminals backward?

In fact, many things (like your lights) will work just fine. Things like the fridge and the furnace will not. Water pump will run backwards though. LEDs on your monitor won't work.

Converter fuse blow to protect the converter; not necessarily the camper.
