Corner bed
One of the things I didn't like about a corner bed, was how hard it was to make up so it looked nice. Smoothing out the sheets was a challenge to say the least. I have solved that problem. I no longer use the bedspread that came on it, I replaced it with a throw and big pillows. Even though I have a real king size blanket on the bed, you would never know it! Also, it looks like the sheets are straight, but they aren't under the throw. I also use the suspenders to keep the bottom sheet from pulling up. Anyway - just in case anyone was interested, here is a pick taken this morning. We are about to head from Point of View RV in Key Largo to Bluewater RV in Key West. Life is good :-)

Looks nice, Debbie. Lots better than the OEM bedspread. Nothing like having a "decorators' touch." With our 24M, we just hide the bed!!

I agree, hiding the bed is wonderful! We had the corner bed in our other unit, but alas we were both too tall and i had issues with getting up in the wee hours(LOL). WE could not be happier with our MS. Love the recliners and the bathroom.

You found a nice fix for an irritating problem. My DH knows not to even show me a corner bed model. Been there done that. Ironically, our Roo causes one of us go climb over during the wee wee hours . Have tried sleeping "sideways" .....
By the way, I love the 'throws'

That looks like an idea to me, maybe I could put a Tiger throw on the bed to deter the pup's sleeping with us.

New Solera 24S
Hi all, we are picking up our new unit 5/28/2013. Any suggestions what questions we should ask during our delivery walk-thru? Any problems we should look for? All suggestions are much appreciated, this is not ur first RV but it is our first diesel!
Thanks from Husky Land....PaDawg

Congratulations! Might want to start a new thread with your question, as some might not look in this thread and want to chime in. We haven't had any problems that are worth speaking about (mostly operator error!). Do know there will be a couple of things you find that will probably need to be fixed. You will love driving the Solera, we just got back from a 2,000+ mile trip and I drove most of it. It handles great!

Been out for 4 days now with our Solera beginning to hate the corner bed. The big bed hogs with us probably don't help.

Understand, we have one bed hog as well. We just spent 14 days in ours, and I wonder if a walk around would make that much difference. Somehow I don't think it really would. The RV beds are all smaller than a regular queen. At least with a corner bed, you won't roll off the bed! We put a topper on ours, so it's pretty comfy after you get in it. I also found that it is easier to get out of it if you get on your hands and knees and crawl out like that, instead of sitting up. I'm the one by the window, and seems my husband didn't have any problems, Also we are using the suspenders to keep the bottom sheet in place. Hang in there!!!!

I have found out about the crawling out part started doing that this morning. And your right about not falling out of the bed.
