Cubby Hole over the Refrigerator

My 24R has a small cubby hole / shelf above the refrigerator. It seems like it''s about 6 inches high and has a little fence on the edge. I see that some versions of the 24R have a upward opening door rather than the fence.

Anyway, I can't quite figure out what to do with the space. It's a bit difficult for a vertically challenged person like me to get things in and out of the space, and there isn't really enough space for most items.

Has anyone got a good idea what to put there?

Thanks!

Dave

Ours is blocked off with a panel. I haven't removed it, but imagine it goes directly to the roof vent.

Ours is taller, but we store an electric griddle up there (2 actually). They're good for making pancakes and other breakfast delicacies.

Oh, and getting to it- we keep a fold-up step stool in the camper for our tall cabinets and short people.

We put our first aid kit and extra towels in that space.

That's a convenient place to mount the controller if you have a solar charging system. You can run the wires right up the vent behind the fridge.

Dish Receiver

We put in a Satelite TV unit and it is perfect place to locate a Dish Receiver and Blu Ray Player. Added remote IR sensor so remote works anywhere in coach. Installed 110 outlet tapping from Electrical used for Microwave.
