Delayed Delivery....

We went over to our dealer this morning to do the PDI or our new 2400W and found out the dreaded CEL (Check Engine Light) was on... Our dealer is taking it to a M-B dealership to get that resolved and we will try the PDI again next week. I don't know what the codes are so it could be something simple. I'll let the issue be resolved before we take delivery.

After delivery I'd planned on visiting the local M-B dealer to register the VIN in our names in their systems and to check for any outstanding recalls. For those of you who have done this how where you treated by your local M-B dealer? Were they helpful or did you get the "didn't buy it here" mentality?

I also live in Georgia and took my 2011 Solera 24s to RBM on Roswell road. Seeing as you are from Woodstock, you are not that far from Alpharetta where there is also RBM that services Sprinters. (That's the problem. Not all MB dealers service Sprinters.) I took my 2011 to RBM in Roswell (not knowing of the dealership in Alpharetta) to have oil change, etc. While there, they did a software check and found a small damaged part of my DEF system and replaced it free under warranty. To answer your question about service, they did what was requested (as expected) and provide a comfortable wait area. Except for the distance from my house to there, I would continue to use them but Alpharetta is closer and lots less traffic. I live in Jackson County.
Good luck on your new Solera...Hope the lights go off and stay off.

RedLd1, do you mind my asking where you bought your Solera? There are few dealerships in Georgia.

Before I retired I drove by the Alpharetta dealership quite often on my way to work. I'll be using them since they easier to get to then driving to Roswell.

We have the Sunseeker version of the Solera. We ordered / bought it at Three Way Campers in Marietta, Ga.
