It depends. RVW and RVone/direct will send you a price quote usually in a couple of hours by email. Be sure to look thru the options you want or are on the model your looking at. I figured I saved $6-7 grand using RVone. Remember though they have limlted locations and depending on luck of the draw you may have complications with your new unit which could be hard to resolve with a distant dealer. And as has been said some local dealers will not repair a unit they didnt sell. Again I would use them for at least a price point that you could use in talking to the dealer. Out of curiosity what are you looking at?
I hate that dealer scare tactic, I think it's total BS... for instance,what if I just moved here.... What if I lived in Wisconsin, bought an rv, then moved to Texas for a new job 6 months later, you're gonna tell me you won't service the brand you sell?? I don't think so, and I don't think you want me in the ear of Forest River over it, cause I'm squeaky
