Door Piston

We're camping in Glacier National Park. Yesterday a gust of wind took care of the pneumatic piston that holds the door open. Can replacements be purchased directly from Forest River. Or has anyone out there come up with a better way to handle the door. The piston that is mounted on the door now has plastic connectors. That doesn't seem like a particularly robust way to hold a door open.

We did the same thing this summer. You can buy the pistons at most auto parts store or Camping World.

Where do you buy the plastic connectors? I'll get 3 or 4 and have spares.
