Drain Plug for Fresh Water Tank, 2015 Forester

Sorry, another question from a newbie.....
Where is the drain plug for the fresh water tank located. Jim was under the unit looking, back was him giving fits, so he stopped looking for today.
We have no info on this, and we didn't think to ask our dealer during our walk thru...

On our Solera 24R the drain valve for the fresh water tank is behind the access panel where the water pump is located.

In my Forester 2651 it is under the bed next to the FW tank on the left. Not the best spot but workable.

On my 2501 Forester and the drain is in the compartment behind the wheels on the passenger side. There is a small door that when opened, exposes the water filter, water pump and the drain. JH

The drain plug you found sounds like 1 of the 2 low point drains. The drain for the fresh water tank is located as mentioned in my and others previous posts. The fresh water drain actually has a valve that can be turned on and off. The low point drain which you mention just has a plastic cap.

Great! I'm a MH newbie too. I've just winterized our rig a couple of times this year so I'm getting familiar with drains! I love this forum!

We moved to south Florida a year ago from Las Vegas, so no winterizing for us!
Yes, this forum is the best!
Take care, thanks again, and safe travels!
