Drawer and cabinet door latches

2014 Solera 24R purchased recently, 1st owner.
I've had multiple failures of the cheap plastic latches that hold cabinet doors and drawers shut while driving. The spring loaded catch part mounted on the cabinet frame sticks in a recessed position, not allowing the "hook" on the door or drawer to lock into it. Pry them out, they stick again. WD-40 won't help. The drawers/doors fly open!
There's gotta be a way to keep door and drawers closed!!!!
Anyone have ideas?

On our 2012 Lexington we had some similar problems and actually broke one of the catches. The problem was not lubrication but adjustment. The hook part on the drawer/cabinet door sometimes would not pull the catch all the way out so the next time it would close it could not since the catch portion that attaches to the hook was not extended out. Try adjusting the position of the hook toward the catch mechanism. After I figured out how they work and adjusted we have had no more issues.
Of course this is assuming that we have the same assemblies.
