Dry Camping Water Pump

Looks like my Water Pump is inop. Tried turning it on with red button light on but no noise from the pumping action. Has anyone replaced their water pump in the Solera? Did you use the same model/make that Forest River installed? Appreciate any comments-Thanks.

Also make sure not set to winterize mode (bypass auction). Plus check adequate battery power to drive it

Ditto, there is a 10 amp fuse on the Solera water pump. Look for the fuse block near the pump, it is behind mine on the "S", ours are the skinny type, not quite like the other poster illustrated. I'd start there.

Just throwing the switch does not turn the pump on. It senses a drop in system water pressure to activate. Flush the toilet or turn on a faucet for a couple of seconds.

Had the same issue once. The check or pressure reg. valve was stuck closed. A little air pressure opened it and no further problems.

Water Pump

If after all checking it is a bad pump, Harbor Freight has a replacement that connects up perfectly. I carry one as a spare and use it, plugged into my F250 trailer connector, the four prong, to pump water from a barrel into the trailer during longer dry camping periods. A spare with a very useful additional function.

FYI,
Thank You for all the inputs!! Replace the fuse and all works-Imagine That! Now just got through climbing on the roof with another problem/post. Just trying to maintain our little house and it is all more work.

Not true on this application of the Solera. Maybe on others though.
