Floor Cleaning

Was wondering what other owners use to clean the floor. I usually just sweep and wet mop it. However, when I walk around barefoot now the bottom of my feet get brown with something from the floor.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

That's interesting I've never noticed it on my 2013. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on it. I do the same as you sweep and mop nothing special.

I use wet swifter pads. Takes many pads over same area, but feels real clean on bare feet when done

Use a Magic Eraser and scrub on your hands and knees. You will not believe how much dirt gets caught in the little depressions of the flooring (not that I'm speaking from personal experience, of course ;-) ).

When we got our solera last year, I noticed some dark markings on the linoleum. Its flecked, and I figured it was part of the pattern. But I realized it wasnt part of the part of the pattern. I had to use lighter fluid as a solvent to get it up. It was tar based... hard to see, but no damage to the floor.

OK. I used Magic Eraser. Two of them completely wore down and they still are a little dirty.

Am going to go at it with Swifter today..............
